Job #4205 – Lecturers of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics anticipates possible temporary positions for lecturers for 2008-09.  These positions usually become available as unexpected needs arise shortly before the start of a quarter.  Positions are generally for one quarter at a time and at varying percentages, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned. 

Applicants must possess a Ph.D., and have a good teaching record. Appointments will be effective October 1, 2008, or later.

Completed applications must be submitted electronically and must contain (1) CV (2) Cover Letter, and (3) Teaching Statement. (In lieu of a Statement of Research, please upload scanned copies of teaching evaluations.)

Three reference letters are required.

October 1, 2008 - for Winter 2009 quarter

January 1, 2009 - for Spring 2009 quarter
