Number Theory Research Group
Members of the Number Theory group at UCI work in several areas of number theory and arithmetic geometry, including coding theory, cryptography, elliptic curves and abelian varieties, Iwasawa theory, special values of L-functions, and varieties over finite fields. There are seminars in Number Theory, Cryptography, and Algebra.
Each year the Number Theory group organizes the Southern California Number Theory Day at UCI, a one-day conference attracting number theory researchers and graduate students from across the region.
