11:00-11:30       break
11:30-12:30   Yuri Zarhin (Penn State University): Superelliptic jacobians: endomorphism algebras and Hodge groups
12:30-  2:30       lunch break
  2:30-  3:30   Jacques Tilouine (Paris 13 and Caltech): Low weight degree four Galois representations and Siegel modular forms
  3:30-  4:00       break
  4:00-  5:00   Harold Stark (UCSD): Siegel zeros
  6:00   dinner at Chinatown restaurant for anyone interested (if you'd like to join the dinner please let us know by registering)

Location: MSTB 118 on the UCI campus (building 415, located at G5 on this map)

Registration: There is no registration fee, but in order to plan for refreshments we would like to know who is coming. Please register.

Driving directions and parking:

From the north: Take I405 to 73, and exit at Bison (there is no toll, despite the confusing signs).
From the south: Take I5 to 73, and exit at Bison (this part of 73 is a toll road).
Then: Take Bison east into campus and into Lot 16 (see map). The MSTB is at the far corner of Lot 16.

You will need to purchase a parking permit from the machine at the entrance to Lot 16. Parking is $5 for the full day, payable in 5, 10, or 25 cent coins, or $1 or $5 bills.
