Welcome to the Descendants of Taylor Caldwell newsletter. TC was a complicated woman. She was extremely well known before her death in 1985. Controversial, too, in ways. With 40 large mult-dimensioned and best-selling novels, she received considerable coverage in Newsweek, People Magazine, Time and major and local newspapers across the country.

We will periodically point to recent reviews on our web site. Also, we will feature some recent and unpublished commentary on her. That includes from our mother's – Peggy's, still unpublished – autobiography.

Peggy knew TC best of any commentator on TC. Partly that was because Peggy was her travel companion for many years. After that, the adversary of TC's last husband, during a battle between them during TC's last five years of incapacity after a stroke.
