The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine invites applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship to start July 1, 2020. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or related fields.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor candidates should have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. The department encourages applicants in algebra, algebraic number theory, and algebraic geometry.
