Grading: Homework: 15%, Quizzes: 20%, Midterm: 25%, Final: 40%
Homework and quizzes: Homework problems will be given each Friday except the last one (4 homework sets total). Quizzes will be given in discussion sections each Monday except July 16 (due to midterm), 4 quizzes total. Every quiz takes about 15 minutes. The lowest quiz grade and the lowest homework grade will be dropped from the final grade calculation. Your TA will provide more details about quiz logistics. There will be one midterm and one final exam.
