This sequence of graduate algebra courses intends to cover 
the basic algebraic material that is needed for further 
graduate study in mathematics. An additional goal is to 
prepare for the algebra qualifying examination. 

The final grade of this course will be based on one final 
exam (80%) as well as active class participations/homework. 
The problems on the final exam will come from the suggested
