Welcome. Linear algebra is one of the mathematical pillars of modern society used in everything from the purest areas of mathematics to the most practical and pragmatic areas of computer science, engineering, finance… It will greatly expand your intellectual horizon. Learning it will likely require you to get to the next level in terms of the amount of abstract thoughts and skills you will be able to put together.

Assessment consists of:
Weekly homeworks (20%)
Quiz during discussion once a week (10%, worst two quizzed dropped)
Two Midterms (17 Oct and 9 Nov, 15% each)
Final exam (comprehensive) (7 Dec, 40%)
