Irvine is centrally located in Southern California. The most convenient airport is the Orange County Airport (John Wayne, code: SNA). If you fly into Los Angeles (LAX), taking a taxi to UCI or the nearby hotels will be an hour and $80. The SuperShuttle service, which has an agent at the outer curb of the arrival level at LAX, costs $32 per person and $9 for each additional person to Orange County Airport, Atrium and Ayres Hotels.

Next to the airport and three miles to UCI---- 18700 MacArthur Blvd., Irvine, 92612. http://www.atriumhotel.com/home.htm ---- $94 plus tax for King/Doubles . It includes complimentary all-you-can-eat breakfast; free shuttle service to and from the John Wayne Airport and UCI(to receive the shuttle service from the airport, go to the luggage pick-up site at the airport and make a phone call from there) . Please make reservation by yourself before May 7, 2006 . Mention the name of the conference to get the special rate.
  • Ayres Hotel and Suites (800-322-9992 for researvation) . Very close to the airport and three miles to UCI---- 325 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. http://www.ayrescostamesa.com ---- $105 plus tax for Singles and $115 plus tax for Doubles . It includes complimentary all-you-can-eat breakfast; free shuttle service to and from the John Wayne Airport and UCI(to receive the shuttle service from the airport, go to the luggage pick-up site at the airport and make a phone call from there) . Please make reservation by yourself before May 3, 2006 . Mention the key words "Fred/UCI Math" for the special rate.
