WHAT IS ALEKS?
Assessment and LEarning in Knowledge Spaces is a Web-based, artificially intelligent assessment and learning system. ALEKS uses adaptive questioning to quickly and accurately determine exactly what a student knows and doesn't know in a course. ALEKS then instructs the student on the topics she is most ready to learn. As a student works through a course, ALEKS periodically reassesses the student to ensure that topics learned are also retained.

HOW WILL I USE ALEKS FOR THIS COURSE?
ALEKS is a very important component of this Math 1B course. A majority of your learning, assignments and exams will take place using ALEKS.

HOW DO I GET STARTED USING ALEKS?
Please watch the video below for an introduction on getting started in ALEKS. This video includes information about how to set up your account, how to login, how to take your initial assessment, how to enter answers in ALEKS, and other information about ALEKS usage.
