The entrance to Red Lodge is spectacular, especially in springtime. The nearby Bear Tooth Highway climbs almost a mile through Mesozoic archeological formations. You can see some of that in several collections of pictures participants took at the conference: red_lodge-pics.html

A motivic Chebotarev density theorem, New York Journal of Mathematics, Volume 12, 2006. Chap. 26 of Fried-Jarden proved the near-rationality of motivic zeta functions under the name of zeta functions attached to a Galois stratification. Motive valued L functions have Poincare series with coefficients in Chow motives.
