Math 205 - Introduction to Graduate Analysis

Class is scheduled for MWF 3-4 pm in MSTB 114 and Th 10-11 am in PSCB 220.
Office Hours: MF 2-3 pm and W 4-5 pm in MSTB 223.
Discussion is scheduled for T 10-11 am in PSCB 220.

Course Description
Math 205 is an analysis course for beginning graduate and honors undergraduate students. It provides a solid theoretical foundation of advanced calculus. It is higher level than Math 140 as it covers more material and on a deeper level. In the course we shall follow the text book by Robert Strichartz indicated below.
Homework will be assigned regularly. You will also be asked once a week to formulate a question concerning the material covered during the week and send it to us (the TA and myself) by email with subject line "YAQ-205".

Exams and Grading
We will have a Midterm and a Final. Your final grade will reflect your performance in the Homework (30%), YAQ (10%), Midterm (30%) and Final (30%).
