Instructor Information

Required text:    Robert E. Greene and Steven G. Krantz, "Function Theory of One Complex Variable", third edition (additional references will be provided for a few topics not covered by this book).

Grading:    Weekly homework 30%, midterm exam 20%, final exam 50%.

Collaboration Policy:   You may discuss homework problems with other students, but solutions should be written up individually in your own words.

   Homework 3 (due Monday, May 4).

   Homework 4 (due Monday, May 11).  

   Practice Midterm

   Homework 5 (due Friday, May 29). 

   Practice Qual -- if you did not take it on Monday, June 1, but still want to take it, feel free to do that at home (for 2.5 hours) and send me the scanned pdf version before 11:59pm on Tuesday, June 2.  The graded exams will be distributed during the class on Friday, June 5.
