The final lecture of this year's Physical Sciences Breakfast Lecture Series is taking place on Tuesday, May 14th at the Student Center, Pacific Ballroom.
Professor Charles Newman from the Department of Mathematics at UC Irvine will present: Spin Glasses and Complexity. In his presentation, Dr. Newman will share how spin glasses play a role in biology as well as computer science including evolution and social network modeling. Come see how the application of spin glass concepts could lead to future medical and technological breakthroughs. Please see the attached flyer for more information on this lecture.
